Members & Roles

Invite collaborators and manage access.

Workspaces support multiple members. Invite your team to collaborate on tasks, monitor activity, and manage settings, each with an appropriate level of access.

Roles

  • Admin: full access. Can manage tasks, cron jobs, activity, alerts, API keys, environment variables, members, and workspace settings including deletion.
  • Member: operational access. Can create and manage tasks and cron jobs, view activity, and configure alerts. Cannot access API keys, environment variables, or workspace settings.

Inviting a member

  1. Go to Settings → Members
  2. Click Invite member
  3. Enter their email address and choose a role
  4. They will receive an invitation email with a link to join

The invitee must have (or create) an Underlayer account using the same email address.

Removing a member

Admins can remove any member from the workspace at any time from Settings → Members. Removed members immediately lose access to the workspace and all its resources.

Transferring ownership

The workspace creator is the initial admin. Additional admins can be promoted from the Members settings page. All admins have equivalent permissions.
